I need your advice on an All in One Printer/Scanner/Copier/Fax for a home office. My old HP at home has run out of both black and color ink cartridges at the same time so it's time to look at replacing it with a good all in one.
This will be for my home for work and personal use. It doesn't need to be a real workhorse, just reliable.
Here's what I need:
Print: Mostly black and white for business documents, but would like the ability to print basic flyers and brochures. Ink Jet should suffice.
Scan: Ability to scan letter and legal. Should be able to save as a PDF for clarity. Scan quality is pretty important as most scans will be forwarded or faxed to multiple parties
Fax: Not essential as I have Ring Central. But without fax ability the necessity for a quality scanner increases, as well as the need to scan Legal documents
Copier: Not super important as long as scanner is fairly easy.
Pictures: Ability to easily connect camera or card to the computer to download and edit pictures is essential. Ideally, it would also have it's own tray for 4x6 picture paper.
Connectivity: It would be nice to have wireless already installed, for full connectivity with both the PC and Laptop with print and fax functions available.
Footprint: Can't be large as it is sharing limited space in my office/spare bedroom.
Software: Should have decent software, and allow for use with third party software
***Please let me know what you use and what you like and dislike about it. ***
I now I'm not alone in the need for a cost effective home/small business All in One that isn't a piece of junk.
